New York Restoration Project has several impactful opportunities for individuals, families, and organizations who wish to direct their gifts of $10,000 or more to a particular program or initiative. • Build, renovate, or revitalize a green space in any of the five boroughs by sponsoring a Gardens for the City project
• Underwrite a seasonal staff position to help NYRP expand our capacity to steward Northern Manhattan parks or support a citywide network of community gardeners
• Support stewardship of the urban tree canopy or our free tree giveaway program to help plant more trees, lower temperatures, improve air quality, mitigate stormwater, and strengthen local ecosystems
• Support urban agriculture programming by underwriting a series of technical workshops or educational offerings that help gardeners grow fresh produce and build community resilience
• Help children get ready for school by sponsoring free backpack giveaways and/or underwriting essential school supplies, in support of one of our most popular NYRP public programs
