New York Restoration Project is the only citywide nature conservancy specifically serving low-income communities. We steward 80 acres of public parkland in Northern Manhattan, care for over 50 community gardens in all five boroughs, and build green spaces for partners in underserved neighborhoods across the city.
Since our founding in 1995, we’ve mobilized over 65,000 volunteers in community greening projects, transforming New York City’s landscape while supporting public health, urban biodiversity, food security, and climate resilience.
See the full impact of our corporate partnerships in our 2025 report.
Through our robust Corporate Partnership Program we proudly welcome hundreds of volunteers into our green spaces each year to contribute to this important work. Some of our recent partners include:

Beginning at $7,500, Corporate Partnerships range from individual volunteer engagements for your employees to larger philanthropic support of our programs and general operations. Available as a standalone opportunity or as part of a larger partnership package (see details above), these custom educational workshops are led by NYRP’s Engagement and Programming team. Sessions can be held virtually, at your office, or in one of our green spaces at a mutually convenient time.
Topics are developed collaboratively based on your interests and might include seed saving, traditional gardening methods, gardens and climate change, gardens and Black history, and more. NYRP provides all materials, setup, and facilitation, as well as a group photo and an impact report.
From spring through fall, NYRP’s parks and community gardens host a vibrant calendar of free public programming including concerts, fitness classes, educational workshops, and more.
Contact Chris Barrett at [email protected] if you are interested in sponsoring an event or series of events in our spaces, or if you would like to offer your space to host an NYRP community event.
