Urban Agriculture: Natural Dye with Marigolds

Join Diana Eusebio and NYRP’s Urban Ag team for a deep dive into dying with marigolds. Workshop participants will learn the basics of creating natural dyes from plants, how to dye fabric with it, and the historical and cultural significance of the textile practice in the Americas. This hands on session will include the chance to practice dying a small article in a marigold vat, and to take it home with them.

NOTE: REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS WORKSHOP. Attendance will be capped at 25 people, after which anyone else who registers will be automatically be added to a waitlist.
