Come join us for sustainability-focused art activations in a community art garden in Harlem. This event is entirely free for all ages!
Join us for a day of free outdoor art activations, including clay coaster creations, paint pouring, printmaking, and more!
The Unframed Arts Collective, in partnership with the New York Restoration Project, invites you to a day of sustainability-inspired art at the Los Amigos Community Garden.
This free, family-friendly event will feature interactive art activations rooted in community building. Donations are warmly welcomed, however, all activations in this event are free .
As a grassroots organization, UAC is committed to providing weekly workshops that primarily serve individuals experiencing housing insecurity. We not only believe that art is a tool for healing, but that self-expression and community is a right that everyone should have access to.
We will have two professionally led art workshops (see below for schedule of events) with limited spots- RSVP to secure your spot!
Come celebrate the power of creativity on July 18 when art will be in full bloom!
Schedule of Events:
11 am – 12 pm: Clay coasters, mini dried flower bouquet making, cardboard insect creations, seedling starters
12 pm – 2 pm: **Artist-Led Workshop #1 (Paint Pouring with Danielle M. Chéry – 13 years and older)
2 PM – 4 PM: Live Jazz Music, clay coasters, flower prints, and more activations
4 pm – 6 PM: **Artist-Led Workshop #2 (Art workshop with Ivory Nunez Medrano)
6-7 PM: Clay coasters, mini dried flower bouquet making, cardboard insect creations, seedling starters and light refreshments (chips, dips, and non-alcoholic drinks)
**Online donations go to UAC programming – Donations for UAC and/or Los Amigos Garden available at the welcome table at the event in person**
