On Saturday, September 26th from 11-2, Aberdeen is offering three free, beginner-friendly workshops as we welcome in the changing of seasons. While registration below is highly appreciated, this is a drop-in style event — come for one workshop or stay for all three! 🍂
11AM: DIY Viewfinders
Viewfinders are tools used for intentional looking. Join us in making and decorating your own pocket-sized viewfinders, and then using them to explore the garden! This art-making workshop is all ages and will be led by artist and garden member, Ally Caple.
12PM: Doll Herbalism Workshop
During this workshop, participants will learn about emotionally supportive herbs, their properties, tastes, energetics, and actions, with a special focus on those that can support emotion distress — many of which can be found at Aberdeen Garden! This workshop will be led by herbalist and educator, Ayelet of Doll Herbalism.
1PM: Qigong led by Yinpercept
Join us for our qigong session where we’ll bring together intentional movement, breathing, and meditation techniques.
Ongoing: Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Table
Come drink tea and chat about the history and practice of observing the first full moon of autumn, and the significance of full circles and reunions.
