The 2024 tree giveaway partner application has closed.

The 2024 NYRP free tree giveaway season kicks off on Saturday, April 13 and will continue on Saturdays and Sundays through Sunday, May 12.

Interested tree giveaway partners should note the following:

• Your organization must have a location within New York City to host the event. Priority will be given to partners with locations in underserved communities, communities with low tree canopy, and/or locations in or near high residential neighborhoods since trees must be planted on private property.
• You must be able to receive and store the trees a couple of days prior to your event.
• You must have enough staff and/or volunteers to help facilitate tree deliveries and the event.
• NYRP will promote the event; however, we rely on partners to market it to their audiences as well.
• If there are trees left over after the event, your organization will be responsible for finding them homes.
