Reserve Our Community Room

Join us in Northern Manhattan

New York Restoration Project provides public access to a Community Room in our workspace in the Sherman Creek Center (SCC) modular building at 3725 10th Avenue, NY, NY 10034.

The Sherman Creek Center is part of Sherman Creek Park and is in a work yard shared by NYC Parks and NYRP. The Community Room is available for presentations or meetings related to parks, education, public space, or environmental stewardship. The room is also available for groups needing an indoor space as part of a park field trip.

The Community Room is accessible from a gate on 10th Avenue and is equipped with movable tables and chairs; a smart TV for presentations; and a bathroom. The room is available to reserve during the follow times:

November-March
Monday-Friday: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 1:00-4:00 p.m.

April-October
Monday-Friday: 2:00-5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Please note:

  • Reservations for the Community Room must be made at least two weeks before the meeting date via the form below.
  • Upon receipt of your request, NYRP staff will review and respond within 7 days on availability.
  • An NYRP staff member will be on site to grant access to the conference room during the confirmed meeting.
  • Community Room capacity is limited to 25 people.
  • Community Room use is subject to availability and NYRP staffing.
  • Alcohol is not allowed in the Community Room.
  • The room is not available for parties or social events.
  • There is no parking on-site, except NYC Parks or NYRP operational vehicles.
  • The Community Room must be left clean and arranged as found.
  • Any use of the SCC Community Room is subject to approval by NYRP and NYC Parks.
