Did you know that our coastal wetlands are inundated by brackish river waters twice a day? This daily rhythm is central to the life of the estuary but also deposits lots of trash along the shoreline of our park. Come and learn about the coastal wetlands and help remove litter from the estuary.

Sherman Creek Stewards will meet in Swindler Cove at Sherman Creek Park. Please enter the park just north of PS 5 (3703 10th Ave., New York, NY 10034) and follow the wood chip path to the gated section of the park, Swindler Cove. We will gather at the picnic tables near the small park building and bathroom.
