Tree Giveaway: Queens Botanical Garden and Assemblywoman Nily Rozic

This event is hosted by Queens Botanical Garden in partnership with Assemblywoman Nily Rozic.

UPDATE: All available trees have been reserved for this event, but walk-up recipients are welcome to pick up a tree during the second hour of the giveaway, from 3:00 p.m. onwards. All remaining trees are first-come, first-served until all trees are distributed. We always have trees remaining for the second hour for anyone who missed the chance to register in advance. Attendees can also pick up a free bag of DSNY’s Big Reuse Compost.

Native tree species to be distributed include: American Plum, Black Cherry, Eastern Redbud, Flowering Dogwood, Honey Locust, Sycamore, Washington Hawthorn, and Willow Oak.

Please be prepared to transport a two-gallon pot size.
