GARDENISM: Our Family Plate

Join us for a day dedicated to sunshine and community engagement as we explore the vital connection between the food we cultivate, the meals we create, and the essential role that community gardens play in fostering relationships. The event will feature a panel discussion with local residents, gardeners, and NYRP staff, a cooking demonstration, and a tea workshop that delves into the cultural, herbal, and sacred aspects of tea traditions. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour La Finca del Sur Farm, a recipient of the NYRP Gardens for the City award.
