Bedford-Stuyvesant Community Garden
Brooklyn
Bedford-Stuyvesant
Sponsored by Andrea Woodner
The Miraflores Community Garden was adopted by Andrea Woodner in memory of Squeak, who would have loved this garden. The focal point of this community space along the Bushwick/Bedford-Stuyvesant border is a performance stage backed by a vibrant mural. The garden features a lush planting of shade-loving flowers and ferns, strings of lights to illuminate the space, a patio gathering area with bench seating, and a picnic table.
