2026 Mid-Year Impact Report

Together, we’re growing a greener city.

Greener neighborhoods don’t happen by chance. They grow through long-term investment, dedicated stewardship, and a shared belief that every New Yorker deserves access to healthy, vibrant green spaces.

For over 30 years, New York Restoration Project has worked alongside communities to restore parks, revitalize gardens, expand the city’s urban forest, and create places where people and nature can thrive together.

This year is no exception. Already in 2026, donor support has helped make meaningful progress across the city—from planting and distributing thousands of trees and shrubs to building new green spaces, removing litter from parks, and mobilizing volunteers to care for the neighborhoods they call home.
