All NYRP community gardens hold a minimum of 20 open hours per week. Please check the bulletin board at the garden for times and details.
Founded in 1985, the Clinton Avenue Community Garden has been an integral part of this largely Hispanic community in the East Tremont section of the Bronx. Community gardeners plant tomatoes, bell peppers, corn, cilantro, peas and papalo. The garden features a lovely cherry tree and provides space for local church and community gatherings, as well as workshops, picnics and barbecues.
