All NYRP community gardens hold a minimum of 20 open hours per week. Please check the bulletin board at the garden for times and details.
The Linden Boulevard Community Garden is an orderly, well-laid-out space planned and created by veteran GreenThumb designer Edie Kean. The site is filled with mature shade trees and ornamental plantings interspersed with artfully placed brick pathways. Community members and residents from the Association for the Advancement for the Blind and Retarded – a local non-profit organization providing housing and social services for blind and developmentally disabled youth and adults – use the garden’s benches and paths to relax and experience nature. New York Restoration Project (NYRP) partners with The Association, which is located adjacent to the garden, to maintain the green space.
