Volunteer: Sherman Creek Stewards

Help get the woodland garden ready for fall! We will weed and mulch the garden. It’s also a great time to divide and transplant some of our native woodland plants and collect native seeds. You will also have the opportunity to learn about propagating native plants.

Sherman Creek Stewards will meet in Swindler Cove at Sherman Creek Park. Please enter the park just north of PS 5 (3703 10th Ave., New York, NY 10034) and follow the wood chip path to the gated section of the park, Swindler Cove. We will gather at the picnic tables near the small park building and bathroom.
