Winter Intensive Workshop: Shiitake Mushroom Logs

Join NYRP’s Urban Ag team to learn how to grow Shiitake mushrooms on logs. This hands on workshop will include a short mycology 101 lesson, followed by plenty of opportunity to practice drilling and filling logs with shiitake mushroom spawn, as well as a chance to discuss the in’s and out’s of setting up a mushroom log operation within the unique context of an NYC urban ag space.
