DESCRIPTION:Garden Carpentry 101 \nThis event is hosted in partnership with the Astoria Woodworkers Collective.&nbsp\; \nJoin the Astoria Woodworkers Collective and the NYRP Urban Ag team for an introduction to basic garden carpentry. This hands on workshop is intended for people of all skill levels\, especially beginners. The session will include an orientation to safety\, as well as training on how to use common power and hand tools. In the afternoon\, participants will help build mushroom log stands to be used in the Riley-Levin Teaching Gardens mushroom farm area. \nTHIS WORKSHOP IS FULL.
