Preparing for Winter: An Intro to Fall Cover Crops for NYC Growers

Join NYRP’s Urban Ag team for a comprehensive introduction to cover crops. This workshop will focus on their utility in the fall as a strategy to prepare your growing space for winter and will include a hands-on component where we practice the dos and don’ts of sowing cover crop in the raised beds at New Roots Bronx Community Farm. Participants will also receive a cover crop kit to take home with them.

NOTE: Registration is required for this workshop. ATTENDANCE WILL BE CAPPED AT 25 PEOPLE, after which anyone else who registers will automatically be added to a waitlist.
