Preparing for Winter: An Intro to Fall Cover Crops for NYC Growers

This event is hosted in partnership with Kelly Street Garden.

Join NYRP’s Urban Ag team for a comprehensive introduction to cover crops. This workshop will focus on their utility in the fall as a strategy to prepare your growing space for winter. It will include a introduction to different types of fall cover crops, as well as a hands-on component where we practice the do’s and don’ts of sowing cover crop in the raised beds at the Kelly Street Garden.

NOTE: Registration is required for this workshop. ATTENDANCE WILL BE CAPPED AT 25 PEOPLE, after which anyone else who registers will automatically be added to a waitlist.
