DESCRIPTION:Tree Giveaway: Bronx River Alliance \nThis event is in partnership with Bronx River Alliance. \n \nLearn more about our tree giveaway program\, including additional event dates and locations\, our tree care guide\, and more resources here. \nNative tree species to be distributed at this location include: American Plum\, Bald Cypress\, Black Cherry\, Elderberry\, Hornbeam\, Smooth Alder\, Sycamore\, American Persimmon\, and Sweetbay Magnolia. \nPlease note that tree sizes vary. Be prepared to transport up to a two-gallon pot size. \nEven if all available trees are reserved for an event\, walk-up recipients are welcome to pick up a tree during the second hour of the giveaway\, from 3:00 p.m. onwards. All remaining trees are first-come\, first-served until all trees are distributed.
