Queer Birding at Sherman Creek Park!

Join us for a fall birding excursion at Sherman Creek Park with NYC Queer Birders!

Accessibility info: One block away from the 1 train. To access the park from the Dyckman Street train station: take a right on Dyckman towards the Harlem River when leaving the train station. Cross the Harlem River Drive and enter the bike path. Take a right along the bike path and go past PS5. Enter the park through the gate to your left. Meet by the garden beds at Riley-Levins Children’s Garden.

There will be a mix of paved, dirt and gravel paths with no steep incline. One pathway through the park has a few stairs but these can be avoided by taking another path. There is also a sturdy, flat metal bridge over the marsh and a flat wooden path over the pond.
