Oyster Mushroom Grow-at-Home Bag Workshop @ Crazy for Composting Conference

This event is being organized as part of the Crazy for Composting Conference, led by Bronx Green Up at the New York Botanical Garden.

Join the NYRP Urban Ag team and Rhys Bethke from Queerkind Farm for a hands-on oyster mushroom bag-making workshop re-using spent blocks from Afterlife Ag. This workshop will provide a great introduction for those new to mushrooms in very basic mycology and how to grow oyster mushrooms on straw. Participants will get to take home an oyster mushroom bag themselves.

NOTE: Participation for this workshop is limited to Crazy for Composting Conference participants. Anyone interested should register for the conference and inquire with conference organizers.
