Pura Belpre Community Partnership Event

This event is organized by Aguilar Branch of The New York Public Library.

The New York Public Library – Aguilar Branch is inviting the community to celebrate the life and work of Pura Belpre. She was one of the most important storytellers in The New York Public Library’s history, and New York City’s first Puerto Rican librarian. On this day, we will celebrate East Harlem and Literacy by distributing books and sharing information from community organizations.
