This event is organized by the New York Public Library’s (NYPL) Aguilar Branch and Harlem Grown
From the event organizers:
Join the NYPL and Harlem Grown in NYRP’s El Cataño Community Garden in East Harlem this Monday, May 23, at 11:00 a.m.
Children will learn all about pollinators in this fun and exciting program. We will first read The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. Students will then become familiar with popular pollinators and learn about all the ways they help our garden grow! A pollinator craft will allow families to get creative as they make butterfly models that they can take home and fly around!
