Planting Ginger in NYC

Join NYRP’s Urban Ag team for an introduction to ginger cultivation from seed piece to harvest. This hands-on session will focus on the crucial step for any crop: PLANTING. It will also include an overview of how to grow ginger in an NYC climate, touching everything from where to source seed, to how to pre-germinate it, and what to expect over the course of a growing season.
