DESCRIPTION:Bushwick Community Garden Walking Tour with NYRP and Chenae Bullock \n \nPoster House and New York Restoration Project (NYRP) will host a guided walking tour through Bushwick&#8217\;s Cooper\, Decatur\, and Aberdeen community gardens\, presented in connection with the exhibition&nbsp\;Designed to Be Red: Native American &amp\; Indigenous Poster Works. DK Kinard\, NYRP&#8217\;s Director of Community Engagement\, will co-lead the tour with Chenae Bullock\, founder of Moskehtu Consulting\, who will bring historical and cultural context to each stop. Together\, they will trace the history of the land itself — what it once was and what it has become — point out indigenous plants growing in the gardens and how they have traditionally been used\, and speak to the continuing presence of indigenous peoples in New York City today. \nRegistration Link Coming Soon. \n
