Build Your Own Garden Terrarium at Dorothy Strelsin Memorial Community Garden

Join the community and the gardeners at Dorothy Strelsin Memorial Community Garden for a hands-on workshop with artist Ella Veres where you’ll make your own humidity loving plant terrarium.

Ella will teach you how to put together your own unique terrarium including the layers of hardscape, plants, and the cleaning crew of the vessel, the springtails. You will be provided clear instructions on how to ensure your tiny plant world is healthy and thriving.

Please bring your own vessel or you can choose from the ones provided!
