Brownstone Steps Garden Reading Series at Target Brooklyn Community Garden

The Garden Reading Series is an annual showcase of works by playwrights local to New York City. Readings take place in gardens and neighborhood parks, off-off-Broadway, bringing theatrical performances to audiences of all ages for free.

Whitewashed

A story of two singers, one black and one white, recorded the same song but experienced different outcomes at market. When they are brought together to honor their life’s work, sparks will fly.

18-Hour Wash-a-Thon is a mysterious tale of people passing through a local neighborhood laundromat and disappearing at during the overnight hours after the last rinse cycle.

(Between DeKalb and Willoughby Avenues)

Admission:

This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited. Bring a lawn chair or small blanket.

Travel:

The MTA-G train to Bedford Nostrand station. Exit at Bedford Avenue.

The Brooklyn bus #44 or #38 stop at the corner of Bedford Ave. & DeKalb Ave.

Health & Welfare protocol observed: Complimentary face masks and hand sanitizer will be available. The wearing of masks is optional. Alcoholic beverages and other drugs are not allowed in the garden.
