Not A Tree
There aren't enough trees in the city. Let's change that.
Here's how you can get involved.
Close your eyes and think of New York City — what is the first image that comes to mind? Buildings, street lamps, fire hydrants, maybe a taxi? Did any of the images flashing through your mind include a tree? Our bold new PSA campaign challenges New Yorkers to find ubiquitous New York City objects to emphasize that: “There aren’t enough trees in the city. Let’s change that.”
Spread the word on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Just snap a photo of something you see in our city that clearly is not a tree. Then post with #NotATree and tag @NYRP.
