Volunteer

Volunteer in our Northern Manhattan Parks

From May through October, NYRP welcomes volunteers to assist with forest stewardship and restoration in our Northern Manhattan parks, Highbridge Park and Sherman Creek Park. Volunteers will learn about our forest maintenance techniques and engage in essential tasks including managing invasive vegetation, mulching, and clearing litter.

Please note

• Registration is mandatory for every monthly event.
• In addition to a registration form, you must also complete this Volunteer Release Form. Minors must complete this release form.
• Meetings may be canceled due to inclement weather or holidays.
• Confirmed registration is currently capped at 20 individuals per event.
