Last year we transformed...

Through our Gardens for the City program we helped transform five sites last fall: a juvenile center in Brownsville, a psychiatric center in Queens, a schoolyard in Clinton Hill, a housing complex in the Bronx, and an abandoned lot in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Neighborhood residents from each of these five sites came to NYRP for help and, together, we turned empty concrete into beautiful, green gardens.

This year, it could be your project! Submit your application today. Applications are due February 15, 2012. Decisions will be announced on March 1, 2012.

Help New York Restoration Project bring green to neighborhoods that need it most! Through Gardens for the City, we’re helping communities create their own gardens across NYC. They know what work needs to be done, and we know how to do it. NYRP is ready and willing to help...but first we need you!
