NYRP will be hosting a Mulchfest site at Sherman Creek Center in Northern Manhattan. Recycle your holiday tree at Mulchfest 2013 and have it turned into wood chips! These wood chips help trees retain moisture and protects the soil they are rooted in during the cold winter.
We'll be serving hot cider! Bring a bag and we'll give you mulch you can use in your own backyard or for your neighborhood street trees.
If you can't make it for Mulchfest, you can drop off your tree the week prior: Monday-Friday, January 7-11 between 8am-4pm.
