NYRP Volunteer Corps

Join New York Restoration Project’s (NYRP) Volunteer Corps in greening New York City! Whether you are a green veteran or environmental novice, we have gardening, planting and tree care volunteer opportunities that change seasonally – so check back regularly to see what we are up to around the city!

As a member of our Volunteer Corps, you can help NYRP staff and fellow New York City residents take part in the day-to-day care and beautification of NYRP’s Swindler Cove Park. Located in northern Manhattan, this green space serves as the centerpiece for all of NYRP's recreational and educational activities.

NYRP’s Volunteer Corps members are important participants in MillionTreesNYC efforts to plant and care for thousands of the future one million trees to be planted under this enormous citywide initiative. In addition, Corps members regularly help beautify and enhance NYRP’s network of community gardens throughout New York City’s five boroughs. Also, for those of you who don't dig getting your hands dirty, NYRP welcomes your help in our office. Whether you are a database extraordinaire or a marketing maven, we are interested in hearing how you, too, can contribute to the greening of New York City.
