Every year, NYRP gives out thousands of trees to homeowners and residents of New York City through the MillionTreesNYC initiative. Come to one of our giveaways in the spring and walk away with a New York City treasure.

Trees will be given away to NYC residents on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out. One tree can be adopted per address. Please note that trees cannot be planted on rooftops, terraces, or in city parks. Simple tree planting and care instructions come with your tree. All you need is a place to plant, a shovel and access to water. You will be required to fill out a tree adoption agreement to adopt your tree. Please check back in a couple of weeks for flyers for each specific giveaway and more information!
